Do people think that they will be left alone just because they say: “We believe,” without being tested (i.e. put in tribulations)? And We have tested those who came before them and Allāh will certainly make known those who are truthful, and He will certainly make known the liars…” [Al-‘Ankabūt: 1-3] I seek refuge in Allah from Shaytaan, the outcast. In the Name of Allah, Most Compassionate, Most Merciful This journey of mine Footstep after footsteps Fills itself with arduous obstacles This journey of mine Footstep after footsteps Fills itself with arduous obstacles But Glad Tidings to you, O Martyrs This is the way to Paradise! This is the way to Paradise!  Martyr Doctor Arshad Waheed (may Allah have mercy on him) Indeed Allah has purchased from the believers, their persons and goods in return for Paradise! Allah states in the Qur'an, “Rejoice in the bargain that you have made with your Lord.” So rejoice in the bargain! But you rejoice in traveling to America, you rejoice when going to Canada, you are exultant when acquiring a visa to England. When they shed the blood of Muslims, you enter these idol-worshiping countries for two crusts of bread!? While Allah says to rejoice in those bargains that you have made with Him, in return for the eternal comforts of Paradise!Here are those who trod on the path Those who earned splendor by serving their Lord In which the valleys of at-Taif are embedded In here are the deserts of Karbalah beautified  Narrator: Doctor Arshad Waheed, a luminous star, came from the city of Karachi. He was a true devotee dedicated to perform envious service for the Muslim Ummah. An exemplary commander and guide. An excellent Caller to Allah and an eloquent orator. An ascetic Mujahid for the sake of Allah. Honour bound by faithful concern to defend, a lover of martyrdom. And from his chief of the qualities, was the preference to the life of Hereafter than to this transitory world. Neither life nor wealth, I only desire the affection of my Lord Neglecting the path of this world, I only desire the elevations of Paradise Arshad Waheed gave the dunya (world) an importance of nothing except a trial (from Allah). He spent his life as a trust given by Allah and to be returned to Him. He prioritized the love of Allah above everything. Analyzing the deep wounds of the Muslim Ummah, he did not stood back as a bystander and did not remain in concord with mere criticism or lamentation. After embracing Jihad as a fard-al-'ayn (individual duty) and elucidating the Orders of Allah, he did not adopt Jihad as a path of avoidance. He did not follow the trail of those self-proclaimed intellectuals who decontextualized and blasphemed the meanings of Qur'an and the Sunnah. But whatever the Shari'ah importuned and demanded in the passages of life, Arshad accepted it without hesitation and until martyrdom, he devoted his life to attain Allah's Pleasure. To heal the wounded Ummah, and to strive for the heights of excellence in both this life and the hereafter, he continued to risk his life. May my footsteps never halt while I strive in Your Cause Today the condition of the Muslim Ummah is concealed from no one. The divine religion of Allah, the Most Powerful, is being subdued and the man-made systems like democracy are being overpowered by the Jews as their assets. The worst enemies of the Ummah - Jews, polytheists, and Christians - are unitedly attacking the Muslims from every brink of warfare.May I advance with complete vengeance until my last drop of blood escapes My wishes and desires have been sacrificed only for You O Allah for You, For no one else, but O Allah, only for You   ... And listen to my cries for assistance My blood has been shed in every village and town Everyday my Wudhu is done with droplets of tears Everyday my Wudhu is done with droplets of tears For how long will my voice be struck with wrangle and injustice? For how long will my honor continue to be downtrodden?  Muslim lands have been occupied by the enemies of Allah as their permanent abodes. And listen to my cries for assistance Oppression openly expunged my Afghanistan Blood gushed on that morning of Eemaan  On Allah's land, applying Allah's Rules has been declared an unforgivable crime. Diving into justice and truth is a right I am deprived of Bloodstained in the evenings, grieved in the mornings One who is stabbed with daggers, I am that throat  Today, even the Houses of Allah are not liberated from the impure feet of the Crusader forces. Hear the confessions of these tears in my eyes And listen to my cries for assistance  Prophet's saying: “Expel the polytheists from the Arabian Peninsula” On contrary to the last will of the munificent Messenger of Allah(peace and blessings be upon him), the sanctuaries of Makkah and Medinah are openly being invaded by the depraved American soldiers. The land of the Prophets, Palestine, is being choked under Jewish claws. My blood has been shed in every village and town Everyday my Wudhu is done with droplets of tears For how long will my voice be struck with wrangle and injustice? For how long will my honor continue to be downtrodden?  Somalia, Algeria, Kosovo, Chechnya, Iraq, Kashmir, Afghanistan, Indonesia, Thailand, Philippines, Ahmadabad and Ghujrat in India, and other countries are filled with limitless wounds of the Ummah. Because of the treacherous apostasy of traitors, Nur Fatima, Aafia Siddiqui, and other honorable Daughters of the Ummah have been sobbing in their imprisonment by the Crusader dogs. Thousands of Ummah's Sons are confined in the prisons of Bagram, Sheberghan, Abu Ghuraib, and Guantanamo as a result of collective unconsciousness and negligence of the Ummah. Our necks are stricken through the Crusader/Jews' surrogate apostate administrations, who stand by the enemies in this global war against Islam. The so-called Muslim army is a substitute for the murderers of the Ummah. It sides with the enemies of Islam, expressing concrete support for the Crusaders. The atrocious enemies are descending on me  And was this not enough? But in order to pour salt on the wounds, the malignant kuffar first desecrated the Book of Allah, the Most Powerful, the Qur'an, and then proceeded to affront the integrity of the Mercy to the Worlds, Muhammad(peace and blessings be upon him). Hear the confessions of these tears in my eyes  But this pain, this grief, is only felt by the one who adopts the light of faith in his heart, who fears Allah when He will inquire him about this, and who acknowledges the wounds as his own wounds. The one whose conscience is awakened, is he who abolishes his desires, accepts simplicity, lifts the veil of deception and misguidance, and who clings to Islam in his habits. And how can you assess our pain? But alas! These political democratic parties, self-declared intellectuals, freelance heretics, and the political and courtier scholars gave the calls to maintain 'peace' in spite of all the mischief caused by the enemies.  Oh how will those ignorants who stood in college Have any reflection of the Ummah's misery? And how will you be acquainted with the sweetness of the battle When you have never witnessed the fountain of blood? On the conference table, they erect mutual deals and joint compromises with Ummah's killers and Allah's enemies. Blinded by the infidel law and constitution, they revolved around protests and TV debates, and hence, they forced the Ummah race towards illusions.  Voice and Versification of Shaykh Usama bin Ladin (may Allah protect him) The sky was engulfed in dark clouds, And the arrows were raining down during Zuhr Blood flooded and surpassed the edge of shamelessness, The injustice of the usurpers reached its peak While the battlefields facing us, Were empty of sword's luster and horse's tramp Here were some sounds and even they, Were dissolved in the beatings of the drums Then here came the thunderstorms of honor, And reduced their fortresses to dust And taught the despotic ones, That we would continue destructing you, Until we recover every single land of Islam from you  Narrator: So there stood some people of discernment, who pledged to give rights to Allah's revealed Religion, His Messenger(peace and blessings be upon him), and the Manifest Book revealed to him. They declared open baraa' (hatred) towards the kuffar and the apostates. Instead of following the misguided path to democracy, they pursued the path to Shari'ah and the Khilafah. Keeping their trust in Allah, they enforced the pact to destroy the head of disbelief from its first evolving point. And to refuse indignity; to raise Allah's Word in its Supreme form, they announced to follow and be martyred in the advancement of the Divinely-Ordained Way. They are the patrons of the Ummah who busied themselves in the defense of the Ummah; these 'terrorists' for Allah's Cause are the Mujahideen, for whose obliteration the global kufr has been exhausting its resources. In response to kufr, these warriors joined the caravans and proclaimed eradication of the kufr laws and constitution, and mutiny to every way leading to it. One of those was Doctor Arshad Waheed, who embraced the pathway to Jihad and its result: martyrdom. He acknowledged Ummah's wounds as his own injury, Ummah's sorrows as his own grief, and distributed this feeling towards others.  Martyr Doctor Arshad Waheed (may Allah have mercy on him) The sensation has escaped: we have taken the Shahaadah for granted, and after reciting some words we have taken it as a guarantee and as a certificate that now Paradise is fard (obligatory) on us. Then who were these people about whom it was stated that, “O Messenger, if they say to you to advance then forbid them, say to them that they won't leave for Jihad now. Sit here among those who stood back(like you did).” You favored the path to stand back, so then stand back! Even in your absence, this Jihad will continue. O people, this Jihad will continue even if you sit back! By Allah, preserve your blood for Jihad. [If you fail to do so then] On the Judgement Day, people will pull you towards them. And you will try to save yourself from this humiliation. That Mujahid who sacrifices his blood, who martyrs himself, who is lying under the shade of bombs. What is it inside him that makes him greater than us? Is he not a human like you and me!? He, too, read the same Qur'an. He also received the same Ahadith. He also assesses the verses from the Qur'an but makes his comforts forbidden for himself and decides not to sit relaxed and eased.  Narrator: Undoubtedly, Arshad Waheed's heart was not a rock. Allah's Book gifted him with the tendency of acting upon it. Those who were with him knew that his entire life was spent in love for Allah and was ready for the passage of sacrifice whenever possible. He was wandering in search of the real Cause: seeking Allah's Pleasure. In the year of 2001, when Crusaders invaded and bombed Afghanistan he was busy in specialization of neurosurgery after MBBS. But during the bombing period, he arrived at Kandahar for the treatment of injured Mujahideen. After the cessation of Islamic Emirate in Kabul, he returned to Pakistan in conditions when the lands of Pakistan were being restrained for the Mujahideen. And at a time when the Mujahideen and their helpers were killed, or imprisoned and were handed over to the Crusaders in exchange for a few dollars. In reality, these dollars were the amount needed for the apostasy of the Pakistani government, army, and the secret agencies. But during this critical trial, Allah granted Arshad steadfastness. He abundantly helped the Mujahideen migrating from Afghanistan to Pakistan, and actively urged the Muslims of Pakistan towards the fulfillment of the obligation of Jihad.  Martyr Doctor Arshad Waheed (may Allah have mercy on him) Imam 'Abu Haneefah, Imam Shafi', Imam Ahmad bin Hanbal, and Imam Malik, including noble Imam Ibn Taymiyyah and the scholars of Mujahideen (may Allah have Mercy on them): every one of them is united on the stance that if the Muslim lands, even a hand span, are attacked by the disbelievers then the Muslims of that land will be obligated to do Jihad as a fard-al-'ayn. If that country's Muslims do not possess the power to defeat the enemies, then Jihad will be compulsory for the Muslims in the neighboring countries. If they are not able, then the next country until Jihad will become a fard'-al-'ayn in the entire Earth on every single Muslim of the Ummah. Tell me with full faith, when those defenseless people in Afghanistan are bombarded, will Jihad not be an obligation on the Muslims residing in the bordering country - Pakistan? And listen to one greater thing! This is just a matter of land, but if even a single of the Ummah's daughter or mother is captivated by the kuffar, then Jihad will be fard on the entire Ummah. And if a single Muslim is imprisoned then it becomes the obligatory duty and fard-al-'ayn of the Ummah to free him. Is there any excuse that is left then (for not performing Jihad)?  Narrator: For the propagation of Islam, the emergence and support of those democratic, Dajjal-life 'Islamic' parties is distressing and pain for every Muslim like Dr. Arshad Waheed. No doubt, democracy is a kufr system far from Shari'ah. These establishments walk on the path of this kufr in order to ordain Shari'ah which is foolish and meaningless. They not only deny Jihad which is a critical step towards Caliphate and in today's conditions a fard-al-'ayn, but also misguide the people towards kufr and at the same time strengthen the apostate regimes, thus abolishing the important pillars of Shari'ah law.  Martyr Doctor Arshad Waheed (may Allah have mercy on him) I stress that Allah's Book, the Noble Qur'an, gives us freedom from man-made constitutions, parliaments, and assemblies and allows us in submitting to the slavery of Allah and His Messenger. We will not accept any man-made constitution or law! 'Innil Hukmu Illah Lillah' [12:40] Authority rests with none but Allah! If the entire world claims one thing, the entire Ummah claims on a point and if that contradicts Allah and His Messenger's evidence then let that claim descend to the lowest foot of Islam!  Narrator: In 2004, Doctor Arshad Waheed was arrested in Karachi after being accused of an attack on corps commander. During the imprisonment, the Crusader-influenced ISI inflicted much brutalities on him. On release, he found every way to a comfortable life. But he gave Hijrah a precedence over everything else and neglected what the world had to offer him by returning to serve Allah in Jihad. In Allah's Way, In Allah's Way This is our guide, this is our path In Allah's Way, In Allah's Way This is our guide, this is our path In Allah's Way, In Allah's Way Al-Jihad and Al-Jihad, Al-Jihad and Al-Jihad Al-Jihad and Al-Jihad, Al-Jihad and Al-Jihad  Mujahid Abu Umar Mahmud (a close companion of Dr. Arshad Waheed) Once a person has been filled with eagerness for Allah's Gardens then these worldly pleasures are reduced to such inferiority that they hold no meaning in his eyes. So if he wanted to gather all the world has to offer, then it was no difficult thing for him. But if we judge reflecting on the reality then we find that he had already gained the dunya. Meaning that he was finishing his education and was at the final climax of mastering neurosurgery, which also happens to be a very demanding and rare profession in Pakistan. But Allah's love descended in Doctor's heart such that he did not stood back. He had a discussion with scholars where he expressed his goals to make Hijrah. They refused and said that they wished for him to be a replete neurosurgeon since he was in final stages, which would have taken approximately 1.5-2 years. Doctor had his heart diverted from the dunya, in such a way that he agreed and then requested those scholars to give him a guarantee that he wouldn't fall to any fitnah (mischief) during the period. The scholars said that they were not able to do so. He replied that if they couldn't give any surety then he couldn't hold himself back from making Hijrah either because he was not ******* with the dunya anymore. Consequently, the scholars agreed and accepted his request. So he did not wait for a day or two: he decided to march immediately.  Martyr Doctor Arshad Waheed (may Allah have mercy on him) At least try to exert efforts. March towards the furnaces. Kindle them. And place your hands near the fire. Only then will you realize the sacrifice and the bravery of Ibraheem al-khalilullah. Love dives into the furnace of Namrood without any hesitation And logic still stands dumb-founded in the heart Certainly, the logic is what we refer to. What we call as 'intelligence,' Islam refers to it as illogic. Know and measure this on the worldly scales and look onto the parameters, then question yourself: Is this intelligence? This (Jihad) being an obligation, but the Ummah saying contraries. People give lectures, the father explains, the entire family proclaims, everyone talks big, and there is a boy. People say that he is an emotional person and keep him aside first. They say that he is immature and has no sanity: "He talks about Jihad without any reasonable judgement. He recites the verses from Surah As-Saf, Surah at-Tawbah. Enough! This is the same Qur'an that we have also read for years. Our predecessors read it. We know about our Deen!" So they are the first ones to reject the truth by saying that the boy is emotional. But that young boy declines being referred to as a sentimental. And after being questioned, he wills to be thrown into the furnace. But he does not averts his reasoning! O Messenger, they will not be able to inflict even the least harm. Even in the size of a grain! Can you imagine? They cannot harm them even in the measures of a grain's size. But we try to act like sages. We think we have limitless wisdom and ingeniousness; we are so knowledgeable that if the Messengers of Allah or Sahabah descended on the Earth, God Forbid, we would teach them what wisdom really is. And who do we call prudent? Ibraheem, who became khalilullah for a reason. To him Allah refers to as, 'he is My friend' and Allah mentions Ibraheem with extreme love and affection. Understand that the Prophets of Allah have a unique status: sending blessings and peace on Allah's Final Messenger, Muhammad, is an obligation like sending salutations on Ibraheem and his family is. What exalted rank this is! And it has been described in a very strange and beautiful way in the Qur'an. If you are a parent and have children then in this upcoming 'Eid-ul-Adha, choose your most beloved son. Lay your fruit of the life down. And before proceeding to sacrifice an animal, put a knife near the throat of your son, and then ask your hearts: What could have this meant for Ibraheem who was about to slaughter the only joy of his heart? How could he have given this extreme sacrifice? We hear these stories from strangers every time but our hearts never tear apart. Is it not a time when our hearts should melt away with Allah's remembrance and be lost in envy? But Ibraheem, on a single Command in a dream from Allah, decided to take his young child, the one who possessed knowledge, wisdom, and intelligence, and said to him, "O my Son, I saw in a vision that my Lord asked me for sacrifice and I offered you to Him." And look at the son's reply, "O my father! Do as you are commanded: you will find me faithful." Glory be to Allah. In the deserts, keeping the unavailability of the food aside, even a single drop of water was nowhere to be found. Those of you, who are married and have offspring, are familiar with this. Imagine handing over your tender, alluring, and beautiful wife and your beloved son under Allah's Protection. This is a role model for all of us. This serves as a role model that describes to the faithful the meaning of Eemaan: that O you who believe! Surely you will be tested and put into trials. Allah is with the patient ones. And you will certainly be tested in the form of hunger, fear, and loss of wealth. And whatever pleasures that you hold in the highest esteem are nothing but like mosquito's wing and a spider's *** in front of Allah.  Narrator: Because of his qualifications, Doctor Arshad Waheed was assigned with responsibilities that he affectionately fulfilled. His fellow Mujahideen were prepared to die for him and with whom, he inflicted great losses on the enemy.  Shaykh Mustafa Abu al-Yazid (may Allah protect him): Allah states in the Qur'an [Surah Al-Imran (3:159)]: “It was by the mercy of Allah that thou wast lenient with them (O Muhammad), for if thou hadst been stern and fierce of heart they would have dispersed from round about thee. So pardon them and ask forgiveness for them and consult with them upon the conduct of affairs. And when thou art resolved, then put thy trust in Allah. Lo! Allah loveth those who put their trust (in Him).” Allah states [in Surah Al-Baqarah (2:247)], “Surely Allah has chosen him in preference to you, and He has increased him abundantly in knowledge and physique.” And Allah 'Azza Wa Jall states [in Surah As-Sajda (32:24)], “And We made from among them (Children of Israel), leaders, giving guidance under Our Command, when they were patient and used to believe with certainty in Our Ayat (proofs, evidence, verses, lessons, signs, revelations, etc.).” In these Ayaats, Allah is guiding us towards those attributes that should be present in a Muslim leadership so that, in any condition, one can give rights to the Ummah through his leadership. The condition can be under his strength, too overwhelming, or a struggle for his advantage. For the fulfillment of perfect Jihad, Da'wah, inquity, training, rule, and exemplar, it is necessary for the leadership to be fortified by the qualities of vigor, bravery, faithfulness, and belief. He should be abundant in knowledge of Allah's Tawheed, Glorious Attributes and Names, Ayaats, Laws, Shari'ah, and Universal Codes. He should be vigorous with self-confidence and should be well-trained to strike against the enemy. Moreover, it is also important in a leadership for one to be kind and merciful, not harsh, towards the Muslims and fellow companions. He should consider mutual consultation with them and respect their advices. Accordingly, it is important that he keeps his reliance and trust in Allah alone. And for the believers, he should keep Allah's Help, Victory, and Power in his mind. He should take every step after consultation and should be steadfast in the Dignity of Allah. And he should be the one who bypasses the obstacles of this path with firm determination. Regardless of the enemies' strength, he should attack and break in their lines with complete might. Despite the length of the path, he should be prepared to lay down his life with diligence. Additionally, he should uphold the leadership with candor and truth, and should be equipped with aspirations for the command of the believers as a result of his struggle, and should hope for the best of rewards and blessings in the hereafter. Our martyred companion, Doctor Mu'aad, was a model of these qualities.  Narrator: Love and fear of Allah had such a precedence on him that during conversations on the references from the Qur'an, often his eyes were filled with tears. At late night, adherence to Tahajjud (Night Prayer) and making intense supplications was his regular practice.  Mujahid Abu Umar Mahmud(a close companion of Dr. Arshad Waheed) He increased his attachment to Allah in such a way, as is described in an ayah of the Qur'an [in Surah Al-Fajr (89:27-30)] : “(It will be said to the pious believers of Islamic Monotheism): "O (you) the one in (complete) rest and satisfaction! "Come back to your Lord well-pleased (yourself) and well-pleasing (unto Him)! "Enter you then among My (honoured) slaves, "And enter you My Paradise!"” So in him was such a situation of self-satisfaction born. During winters, when the nights were prolonging and my house was right next to his and our rooms were connected with each other. On 3:30 or 4:00 a.m. at late night, the room was echoing with his recitations of the Qur'an. He used to wake up at 3:30/4:00 on the winters! One day I requested him to wake me up early for Fajr. He agreed and inquired about the time at which I wished to wake up. I knew very well that he would wake me up at any time I would ask, since he used to get up so early at night and used to perform Tahajjud, Adhkaar, and recitations of the Qur'an. Despite all of this, he busied himself with medical and other responsibilities. When he came back home at night, I could clearly see that he was tired and exhausted. But regardless of that, he loved to recite the Qur'an and used to make such ardent supplications that one would be forced to wonder if the reason for these du'as was him being ill. But in reality, this was a symptom of Allah's love - which if one obtained, it'd be a source of delight for him.  Narrator: Love for the fellow Mujahideen and serving them was part of his nature.  Shaykh Mustafa Abu al-Yazid (may Allah protect him): He was very softhearted towards his companions and lived happily among them: to the extent that even during martyrdom, he was busy in training with his other brothers. He was an embodiment of resolution and endurance, a believer in the Promises of Allah, an aspirant of Shahaadah, who rejected all worldly associations to the extent that on multiple occasions, he'd apologize for waywardness.  Mujahid Abu Umar Mahmud (a close companion of Dr. Arshad Waheed) About 1 week before his martyrdom, when new headquarters were chosen for the brothers, it was found that there was no Bait-ul-Khala(bathroom) in it. So the brothers began to dig the ground in order to create a Bait-ul-Khala. When he saw the brothers working, Arshad assessed that it was an exhausting job and immediately left for his house saying that he would change his clothes in order to join the brothers in excavation. When he returned, I tried to convince him that it was nothing to worry about. He reluctantly agreed and went back to wear the cleaner garments. When he returned and saw that the brothers were still working, he thought that if he went back to change his clothes again, there might have been the possibility of the work to be accomplished by then. So in those very same clothes, he joined the brothers in the excavation.  Narrator: The passion to destroy the enemies of Islam and to uphold the Word of Allah was firmly kindled in his chest, which never permitted him to live in negligence. It was this zeal for martyrdom in his heart, that since the day of joining the caravans of Jihad, he intensely asked for the scholars' permission to perform a martyrdom operation.  Mujahid Abu Umar Mahmud(a close companion of Dr. Arshad Waheed) I understood his eagerness to perform martyrdom operations very well. Although he never expressed this in front of the brothers, he was affectionately seeking martyrdom through the fulfillment of an operation. After Arshad's martyrdom, we met with his esteemed Ameer who explained in greater detail that no meeting with Arshad passed where he did not expressed the foremost request to perform the operation. In spite of him having children, responsibilities, and other things on himself, he placed forward his need to perform the operation. There are reasons why the Ameer did not gave him permission for the operation but it is from the permission of Allah, that He chose this way of martyrdom for him.  Martyr Doctor Arshad Waheed (may Allah have mercy on him) Oh Allah, grant us martyrdom in this life and in death. O Allah, amplify Your Benevolence and Your Greatness on us by blessing us with martyrdom.  Narrator: In the end, Allah accepted his supplication. On 8 Rabi' ul-Awwal, 1429 H, as a result of a joint American and Pakistan operation, Allah granted him such an excellent martyrdom that even his body was not found intact. Surely Arshad Waheed, may Allah's Mercy descend on him, was sincere to Allah's love, was impatient to obtain Allah's pleasure, and was true in the aim of presenting his life for Allah and His Messenger. Therefore Allah also presented His matter and granted him the blessing, for which he was anxious and restless.  Shaykh Mustafa Abu al-Yazid (may Allah protect him): Pakistani people and the especially the faithful ones should bear firmly to the path of Righteousness by adhering to true leadership and assembling under its banner. For every person who aspires for Victory of Deen, establishment of Shari'ah, Commandments of Allah's Qur'an, and Victory of the Prophet Muhammad(peace and blessings be upon him), it is necessary that he follows guidance and fundamentals of religion through a leadership that enjoins good and for Allah's sake, does not fears the blame of the blamers; that adopts the right path to eradicate the clouds of misery and disgrace of the Ummah, meaning the path of Jihad for the sake of Allah: the path which requires sacrifice of every beloved and valuable thing in order to authorize Allah's Commandments. Martyr Mu'aad, may Allah have Mercy on him, accounts for an optimal example and a model of competence for the Muslim doctors to follow who should also answer the Scholars' calls of Jihad with labbayk after assessing the needs of doctors on the frontlines. They should heal the wounded and the sick Mujahideen in their entrenchments and fortifications. Nowhere can one find a greater quantity of wounded than in the fields of Jihad. Evaluate the aspects of those wounded Mujahideen who gained martyrdom just because they had no doctor to provide recovery. So O healers of the Ummah, Advance!, and remain in the state of readiness to fulfill the obligations. In the personality of Doctor Mu'aad, may Allah have Mercy on him, lies an ideal example for you to pursue. And all Praises belong to Allah, Lord of the Worlds. Possessing affinity and firm resolute, Now I am an emblem of legend An emblem of legend Heretofore I was a star, now I am a galaxy I am a galaxy Survey my deeds, radiance prevails Radiance prevails Embedded on my trodden dead, life flourishes Life flourishes Yes, this is existence, O my friends! Yes this is existence! I decided that this life will be a manifestation of faithfulness and distinction And what else will this life be used for? Yes this is life! And then when I was being released from the prison of the world When I had traversed my journey of devotion I said to my companions: I am a martyr! Then the tongue testified to the words of testimony and departure I departed! This is the way to Paradise! Martyr Doctor Arshad Waheed (may Allah have mercy on him) Indeed Allah has purchased from the believers, their persons and goods in return for Paradise! Allah states in the Qur'an, “Rejoice in the bargain that you have made with your Lord.” So rejoice in the bargain! But you rejoice in traveling to America, you rejoice when going to Canada, you are exultant when acquiring a visa to England. When they shed the blood of Muslims, you enter these idol-worshiping countries for two crusts of bread!? While Allah says to rejoice in those bargains that you have made with Him, in return for the eternal comforts of Paradise! Here are those who trod on the path Those who earned splendor by serving their Lord In which the valleys of at-Taif are embedded In here are the deserts of Karbalah beautified Narrator: Doctor Arshad Waheed, a luminous star, came from the city of Karachi. He was a true devotee dedicated to perform envious service for the Muslim Ummah. An exemplary commander and guide. An excellent Caller to Allah and an eloquent orator. An ascetic Mujahid for the sake of Allah. Honour bound by faithful concern to defend, a lover of martyrdom. And from his chief of the qualities, was the preference to the life of Hereafter than to this transitory world. Neither life nor wealth, I only desire the affection of my Lord Neglecting the path of this world, I only desire the elevations of Paradise Arshad Waheed gave the dunya (world) an importance of nothing except a trial (from Allah). He spent his life as a trust given by Allah and to be returned to Him. He prioritized the love of Allah above everything. Analyzing the deep wounds of the Muslim Ummah, he did not stood back as a bystander and did not remain in concord with mere criticism or lamentation. After embracing Jihad as a fard-al-'ayn (individual duty) and elucidating the Orders of Allah, he did not adopt Jihad as a path of avoidance. He did not follow the trail of those self-proclaimed intellectuals who decontextualized and blasphemed the meanings of Qur'an and the Sunnah. But whatever the Shari'ah importuned and demanded in the passages of life, Arshad accepted it without hesitation and until martyrdom, he devoted his life to attain Allah's Pleasure. To heal the wounded Ummah, and to strive for the heights of excellence in both this life and the hereafter, he continued to risk his life. May my footsteps never halt while I strive in Your Cause May I advance with complete vengeance until my last drop of blood escapes My wishes and desires have been sacrificed only for You O Allah for You, For no one else, but O Allah, only for You Today the condition of the Muslim Ummah is concealed from no one. The divine religion of Allah, the Most Powerful, is being subdued and the man-made systems like democracy are being overpowered by the Jews as their assets. The worst enemies of the Ummah - Jews, polytheists, and Christians - are unitedly attacking the Muslims from every brink of warfare. ... And listen to my cries for assistance My blood has been shed in every village and town Everyday my Wudhu is done with droplets of tears The daily massacres of innocent women, children, and the elderly widens the fire of injustice. Everyday my Wudhu is done with droplets of tears For how long will my voice be struck with wrangle and injustice? For how long will my honor continue to be downtrodden? Muslim lands have been occupied by the enemies of Allah as their permanent abodes. And listen to my cries for assistance Oppression openly expunged my Afghanistan Blood gushed on that morning of Eemaan On Allah's land, applying Allah's Rules has been declared an unforgivable crime. Diving into justice and truth is a right I am deprived of Bloodstained in the evenings, grieved in the mornings One who is stabbed with daggers, I am that throat Today, even the Houses of Allah are not liberated from the impure feet of the Crusader forces. Hear the confessions of these tears in my eyes And listen to my cries for assistance Prophet's saying: “Expel the polytheists from the Arabian Peninsula” On contrary to the last will of the munificent Messenger of Allah(peace and blessings be upon him), the sanctuaries of Makkah and Medinah are openly being invaded by the depraved American soldiers. The land of the Prophets, Palestine, is being choked under Jewish claws. My blood has been shed in every village and town Everyday my Wudhu is done with droplets of tears For how long will my voice be struck with wrangle and injustice? For how long will my honor continue to be downtrodden? Somalia, Algeria, Kosovo, Chechnya, Iraq, Kashmir, Afghanistan, Indonesia, Thailand, Philippines, Ahmadabad and Ghujrat in India, and other countries are filled with limitless wounds of the Ummah. Because of the treacherous apostasy of traitors, Nur Fatima, Aafia Siddiqui, and other honorable Daughters of the Ummah have been sobbing in their imprisonment by the Crusader dogs. Thousands of Ummah's Sons are confined in the prisons of Bagram, Sheberghan, Abu Ghuraib, and Guantanamo as a result of collective unconsciousness and negligence of the Ummah. Our necks are stricken through the Crusader/Jews' surrogate apostate administrations, who stand by the enemies in this global war against Islam. The so-called Muslim army is a substitute for the murderers of the Ummah. It sides with the enemies of Islam, expressing concrete support for the Crusaders. The atrocious enemies are descending on me And was this not enough? But in order to pour salt on the wounds, the malignant kuffar first desecrated the Book of Allah, the Most Powerful, the Qur'an, and then proceeded to affront the integrity of the Mercy to the Worlds, Muhammad(peace and blessings be upon him). Hear the confessions of these tears in my eyes But this pain, this grief, is only felt by the one who adopts the light of faith in his heart, who fears Allah when He will inquire him about this, and who acknowledges the wounds as his own wounds. The one whose conscience is awakened, is he who abolishes his desires, accepts simplicity, lifts the veil of deception and misguidance, and who clings to Islam in his habits. And how can you assess our pain? But alas! These political democratic parties, self-declared intellectuals, freelance heretics, and the political and courtier scholars gave the calls to maintain 'peace' in spite of all the mischief caused by the enemies. Oh how will those ignorants who stood in college Have any reflection of the Ummah's misery? And how will you be acquainted with the sweetness of the battle When you have never witnessed the fountain of blood? On the conference table, they erect mutual deals and joint compromises with Ummah's killers and Allah's enemies. Blinded by the infidel law and constitution, they revolved around protests and TV debates, and hence, they forced the Ummah race towards illusions. Voice and Versification of Shaykh Usama bin Ladin (may Allah protect him) The sky was engulfed in dark clouds, And the arrows were raining down during Zuhr Blood flooded and surpassed the edge of shamelessness, The injustice of the usurpers reached its peak While the battlefields facing us, Were empty of sword's luster and horse's tramp Here were some sounds and even they, Were dissolved in the beatings of the drums Then here came the thunderstorms of honor, And reduced their fortresses to dust And taught the despotic ones, That we would continue destructing you, Until we recover every single land of Islam from you Narrator: So there stood some people of discernment, who pledged to give rights to Allah's revealed Religion, His Messenger(peace and blessings be upon him), and the Manifest Book revealed to him. They declared open baraa' (hatred) towards the kuffar and the apostates. Instead of following the misguided path to democracy, they pursued the path to Shari'ah and the Khilafah. Keeping their trust in Allah, they enforced the pact to destroy the head of disbelief from its first evolving point. And to refuse indignity; to raise Allah's Word in its Supreme form, they announced to follow and be martyred in the advancement of the Divinely-Ordained Way. They are the patrons of the Ummah who busied themselves in the defense of the Ummah; these 'terrorists' for Allah's Cause are the Mujahideen, for whose obliteration the global kufr has been exhausting its resources. In response to kufr, these warriors joined the caravans and proclaimed eradication of the kufr laws and constitution, and mutiny to every way leading to it. One of those was Doctor Arshad Waheed, who embraced the pathway to Jihad and its result: martyrdom. He acknowledged Ummah's wounds as his own injury, Ummah's sorrows as his own grief, and distributed this feeling towards others. Martyr Doctor Arshad Waheed (may Allah have mercy on him) Years pass, one after other. Strange news appears. News arrives from Sheberghan prison, from Dasht-e-Leila. After confining the Mujahideen in containers, keeping them hungry and thirsty for 3 days in a desert, and killing them in thousands: the news arrives. And people are asked, “Do you have any knowledge of this event? Have you seen the news?” But they have no knowledge that this even ever happened! May Allah grant me and you that heart, which is not as rigid as a stone, that which after hearing the Qur'an emits rays of obedience, and transforms to a spinning flame. That feeling of loss escaped the caravan. The sensation has escaped: we have taken the Shahaadah for granted, and after reciting some words we have taken it as a guarantee and as a certificate that now Paradise is fard (obligatory) on us. Then who were these people about whom it was stated that, “O Messenger, if they say to you to advance then forbid them, say to them that they won't leave for Jihad now. Sit here among those who stood back(like you did).” You favored the path to stand back, so then stand back! Even in your absence, this Jihad will continue. O people, this Jihad will continue even if you sit back! By Allah, preserve your blood for Jihad. [If you fail to do so then] On the Judgement Day, people will pull you towards them. And you will try to save yourself from this humiliation. That Mujahid who sacrifices his blood, who martyrs himself, who is lying under the shade of bombs. What is it inside him that makes him greater than us? Is he not a human like you and me!? He, too, read the same Qur'an. He also received the same Ahadith. He also assesses the verses from the Qur'an but makes his comforts forbidden for himself and decides not to sit relaxed and eased. Narrator: Undoubtedly, Arshad Waheed's heart was not a rock. Allah's Book gifted him with the tendency of acting upon it. Those who were with him knew that his entire life was spent in love for Allah and was ready for the passage of sacrifice whenever possible. He was wandering in search of the real Cause: seeking Allah's Pleasure. In the year of 2001, when Crusaders invaded and bombed Afghanistan he was busy in specialization of neurosurgery after MBBS. But during the bombing period, he arrived at Kandahar for the treatment of injured Mujahideen. After the cessation of Islamic Emirate in Kabul, he returned to Pakistan in conditions when the lands of Pakistan were being restrained for the Mujahideen. And at a time when the Mujahideen and their helpers were killed, or imprisoned and were handed over to the Crusaders in exchange for a few dollars. In reality, these dollars were the amount needed for the apostasy of the Pakistani government, army, and the secret agencies. But during this critical trial, Allah granted Arshad steadfastness. He abundantly helped the Mujahideen migrating from Afghanistan to Pakistan, and actively urged the Muslims of Pakistan towards the fulfillment of the obligation of Jihad. Martyr Doctor Arshad Waheed (may Allah have mercy on him) Imam 'Abu Haneefah, Imam Shafi', Imam Ahmad bin Hanbal, and Imam Malik, including noble Imam Ibn Taymiyyah and the scholars of Mujahideen (may Allah have Mercy on them): every one of them is united on the stance that if the Muslim lands, even a hand span, are attacked by the disbelievers then the Muslims of that land will be obligated to do Jihad as a fard-al-'ayn. If that country's Muslims do not possess the power to defeat the enemies, then Jihad will be compulsory for the Muslims in the neighboring countries. If they are not able, then the next country until Jihad will become a fard'-al-'ayn in the entire Earth on every single Muslim of the Ummah. Tell me with full faith, when those defenseless people in Afghanistan are bombarded, will Jihad not be an obligation on the Muslims residing in the bordering country - Pakistan? And listen to one greater thing! This is just a matter of land, but if even a single of the Ummah's daughter or mother is captivated by the kuffar, then Jihad will be fard on the entire Ummah. And if a single Muslim is imprisoned then it becomes the obligatory duty and fard-al-'ayn of the Ummah to free him. Is there any excuse that is left then (for not performing Jihad)? Narrator: For the propagation of Islam, the emergence and support of those democratic, Dajjal-life 'Islamic' parties is distressing and pain for every Muslim like Dr. Arshad Waheed. No doubt, democracy is a kufr system far from Shari'ah. These establishments walk on the path of this kufr in order to ordain Shari'ah which is foolish and meaningless. They not only deny Jihad which is a critical step towards Caliphate and in today's conditions a fard-al-'ayn, but also misguide the people towards kufr and at the same time strengthen the apostate regimes, thus abolishing the important pillars of Shari'ah law. Martyr Doctor Arshad Waheed (may Allah have mercy on him) I stress that Allah's Book, the Noble Qur'an, gives us freedom from man-made constitutions, parliaments, and assemblies and allows us in submitting to the slavery of Allah and His Messenger. We will not accept any man-made constitution or law! 'Innil Hukmu Illah Lillah' [12:40] Authority rests with none but Allah! If the entire world claims one thing, the entire Ummah claims on a point and if that contradicts Allah and His Messenger's evidence then let that claim descend to the lowest foot of Islam! Narrator: In 2004, Doctor Arshad Waheed was arrested in Karachi after being accused of an attack on corps commander. During the imprisonment, the Crusader-influenced ISI inflicted much brutalities on him. On release, he found every way to a comfortable life. But he gave Hijrah a precedence over everything else and neglected what the world had to offer him by returning to serve Allah in Jihad. So if he wanted to gather all the world has to offer, then it was no difficult thing for him. But if we judge reflecting on the reality then we find that he had already gained the dunya. Meaning that he was finishing his education and was at the final climax of mastering neurosurgery, which also happens to be a very demanding and rare profession in Pakistan. But Allah's love descended in Doctor's heart such that he did not stood back. He had a discussion with scholars where he expressed his goals to make Hijrah. They refused and said that they wished for him to be a replete neurosurgeon since he was in final stages, which would have taken approximately 1.5-2 years. Doctor had his heart diverted from the dunya, in such a way that he agreed and then requested those scholars to give him a guarantee that he wouldn't fall to any fitnah (mischief) during the period. The scholars said that they were not able to do so. He replied that if they couldn't give any surety then he couldn't hold himself back from making Hijrah either because he was not ******* with the dunya anymore. Consequently, the scholars agreed and accepted his request. So he did not wait for a day or two: he decided to march immediately. Martyr Doctor Arshad Waheed (may Allah have mercy on him) At least try to exert efforts. March towards the furnaces. Kindle them. And place your hands near the fire. Only then will you realize the sacrifice and the bravery of Ibraheem al-khalilullah. Love dives into the furnace of Namrood without any hesitation And logic still stands dumb-founded in the heart Certainly, the logic is what we refer to. What we call as 'intelligence,' Islam refers to it as illogic. Know and measure this on the worldly scales and look onto the parameters, then question yourself: Is this intelligence? This (Jihad) being an obligation, but the Ummah saying contraries. People give lectures, the father explains, the entire family proclaims, everyone talks big, and there is a boy. People say that he is an emotional person and keep him aside first. They say that he is immature and has no sanity: "He talks about Jihad without any reasonable judgement. He recites the verses from Surah As-Saf, Surah at-Tawbah. Enough! This is the same Qur'an that we have also read for years. Our predecessors read it. We know about our Deen!" So they are the first ones to reject the truth by saying that the boy is emotional. But that young boy declines being referred to as a sentimental. And after being questioned, he wills to be thrown into the furnace. But he does not averts his reasoning! O Messenger, they will not be able to inflict even the least harm. Even in the size of a grain! Can you imagine? They cannot harm them even in the measures of a grain's size. But we try to act like sages. We think we have limitless wisdom and ingeniousness; we are so knowledgeable that if the Messengers of Allah or Sahabah descended on the Earth, God Forbid, we would teach them what wisdom really is. And who do we call prudent? Ibraheem, who became khalilullah for a reason. To him Allah refers to as, 'he is My friend' and Allah mentions Ibraheem with extreme love and affection. Understand that the Prophets of Allah have a unique status: sending blessings and peace on Allah's Final Messenger, Muhammad, is an obligation like sending salutations on Ibraheem and his family is. What exalted rank this is! And it has been described in a very strange and beautiful way in the Qur'an. If you are a parent and have children then in this upcoming 'Eid-ul-Adha, choose your most beloved son. Lay your fruit of the life down. And before proceeding to sacrifice an animal, put a knife near the throat of your son, and then ask your hearts: What could have this meant for Ibraheem who was about to slaughter the only joy of his heart? How could he have given this extreme sacrifice? We hear these stories from strangers every time but our hearts never tear apart. Is it not a time when our hearts should melt away with Allah's remembrance and be lost in envy? But Ibraheem, on a single Command in a dream from Allah, decided to take his young child, the one who possessed knowledge, wisdom, and intelligence, and said to him, "O my Son, I saw in a vision that my Lord asked me for sacrifice and I offered you to Him." And look at the son's reply, "O my father! Do as you are commanded: you will find me faithful." Glory be to Allah. In the deserts, keeping the unavailability of the food aside, even a single drop of water was nowhere to be found. Those of you, who are married and have offspring, are familiar with this. Imagine handing over your tender, alluring, and beautiful wife and your beloved son under Allah's Protection. This is a role model for all of us. This serves as a role model that describes to the faithful the meaning of Eemaan: that O you who believe! Surely you will be tested and put into trials. Allah is with the patient ones. And you will certainly be tested in the form of hunger, fear, and loss of wealth. And whatever pleasures that you hold in the highest esteem are nothing but like mosquito's wing and a spider's *** in front of Allah. Narrator: Because of his qualifications, Doctor Arshad Waheed was assigned with responsibilities that he affectionately fulfilled. His fellow Mujahideen were prepared to die for him and with whom, he inflicted great losses on the enemy. Shaykh Mustafa Abu al-Yazid (may Allah protect him): Allah states in the Qur'an [Surah Al-Imran (3:159)]: “It was by the mercy of Allah that thou wast lenient with them (O Muhammad), for if thou hadst been stern and fierce of heart they would have dispersed from round about thee. So pardon them and ask forgiveness for them and consult with them upon the conduct of affairs. And when thou art resolved, then put thy trust in Allah. Lo! Allah loveth those who put their trust (in Him).” Allah states [in Surah Al-Baqarah (2:247)], “Surely Allah has chosen him in preference to you, and He has increased him abundantly in knowledge and physique.” And Allah 'Azza Wa Jall states [in Surah As-Sajda (32:24)], “And We made from among them (Children of Israel), leaders, giving guidance under Our Command, when they were patient and used to believe with certainty in Our Ayat (proofs, evidence, verses, lessons, signs, revelations, etc.).” In these Ayaats, Allah is guiding us towards those attributes that should be present in a Muslim leadership so that, in any condition, one can give rights to the Ummah through his leadership. The condition can be under his strength, too overwhelming, or a struggle for his advantage. For the fulfillment of perfect Jihad, Da'wah, inquity, training, rule, and exemplar, it is necessary for the leadership to be fortified by the qualities of vigor, bravery, faithfulness, and belief. He should be abundant in knowledge of Allah's Tawheed, Glorious Attributes and Names, Ayaats, Laws, Shari'ah, and Universal Codes. He should be vigorous with self-confidence and should be well-trained to strike against the enemy. Moreover, it is also important in a leadership for one to be kind and merciful, not harsh, towards the Muslims and fellow companions. He should consider mutual consultation with them and respect their advices. Accordingly, it is important that he keeps his reliance and trust in Allah alone. And for the believers, he should keep Allah's Help, Victory, and Power in his mind. He should take every step after consultation and should be steadfast in the Dignity of Allah. And he should be the one who bypasses the obstacles of this path with firm determination. Regardless of the enemies' strength, he should attack and break in their lines with complete might. Despite the length of the path, he should be prepared to lay down his life with diligence. Additionally, he should uphold the leadership with candor and truth, and should be equipped with aspirations for the command of the believers as a result of his struggle, and should hope for the best of rewards and blessings in the hereafter. Our martyred companion, Doctor Mu'aad, was a model of these qualities. Narrator: Love and fear of Allah had such a precedence on him that during conversations on the references from the Qur'an, often his eyes were filled with tears. At late night, adherence to Tahajjud (Night Prayer) and making intense supplications was his regular practice. Mujahid Abu Umar Mahmud(a close companion of Dr. Arshad Waheed) He increased his attachment to Allah in such a way, as is described in an ayah of the Qur'an [in Surah Al-Fajr (89:27-30)] : “(It will be said to the pious believers of Islamic Monotheism): "O (you) the one in (complete) rest and satisfaction! "Come back to your Lord well-pleased (yourself) and well-pleasing (unto Him)! "Enter you then among My (honoured) slaves, "And enter you My Paradise!"” So in him was such a situation of self-satisfaction born. During winters, when the nights were prolonging and my house was right next to his and our rooms were connected with each other. On 3:30 or 4:00 a.m. at late night, the room was echoing with his recitations of the Qur'an. He used to wake up at 3:30/4:00 on the winters! One day I requested him to wake me up early for Fajr. He agreed and inquired about the time at which I wished to wake up. I knew very well that he would wake me up at any time I would ask, since he used to get up so early at night and used to perform Tahajjud, Adhkaar, and recitations of the Qur'an. Despite all of this, he busied himself with medical and other responsibilities. When he came back home at night, I could clearly see that he was tired and exhausted. But regardless of that, he loved to recite the Qur'an and used to make such ardent supplications that one would be forced to wonder if the reason for these du'as was him being ill. But in reality, this was a symptom of Allah's love - which if one obtained, it'd be a source of delight for him. Narrator: Love for the fellow Mujahideen and serving them was part of his nature. Shaykh Mustafa Abu al-Yazid (may Allah protect him): He was very softhearted towards his companions and lived happily among them: to the extent that even during martyrdom, he was busy in training with his other brothers. He was an embodiment of resolution and endurance, a believer in the Promises of Allah, an aspirant of Shahaadah, who rejected all worldly associations to the extent that on multiple occasions, he'd apologize for waywardness. Mujahid Abu Umar Mahmud (a close companion of Dr. Arshad Waheed) About 1 week before his martyrdom, when new headquarters were chosen for the brothers, it was found that there was no Bait-ul-Khala(bathroom) in it. So the brothers began to dig the ground in order to create a Bait-ul-Khala. When he saw the brothers working, Arshad assessed that it was an exhausting job and immediately left for his house saying that he would change his clothes in order to join the brothers in excavation. When he returned, I tried to convince him that it was nothing to worry about. He reluctantly agreed and went back to wear the cleaner garments. When he returned and saw that the brothers were still working, he thought that if he went back to change his clothes again, there might have been the possibility of the work to be accomplished by then. So in those very same clothes, he joined the brothers in the excavation. Narrator: The passion to destroy the enemies of Islam and to uphold the Word of Allah was firmly kindled in his chest, which never permitted him to live in negligence. It was this zeal for martyrdom in his heart, that since the day of joining the caravans of Jihad, he intensely asked for the scholars' permission to perform a martyrdom operation. Mujahid Abu Umar Mahmud(a close companion of Dr. Arshad Waheed) I understood his eagerness to perform martyrdom operations very well. Although he never expressed this in front of the brothers, he was affectionately seeking martyrdom through the fulfillment of an operation. After Arshad's martyrdom, we met with his esteemed Ameer who explained in greater detail that no meeting with Arshad passed where he did not expressed the foremost request to perform the operation. In spite of him having children, responsibilities, and other things on himself, he placed forward his need to perform the operation. There are reasons why the Ameer did not gave him permission for the operation but it is from the permission of Allah, that He chose this way of martyrdom for him. Martyr Doctor Arshad Waheed (may Allah have mercy on him) Oh Allah, grant us martyrdom in this life and in death. O Allah, amplify Your Benevolence and Your Greatness on us by blessing us with martyrdom. Narrator: In the end, Allah accepted his supplication. On 8 Rabi' ul-Awwal, 1429 H, as a result of a joint American and Pakistan operation, Allah granted him such an excellent martyrdom that even his body was not found intact. Surely Arshad Waheed, may Allah's Mercy descend on him, was sincere to Allah's love, was impatient to obtain Allah's pleasure, and was true in the aim of presenting his life for Allah and His Messenger. Therefore Allah also presented His matter and granted him the blessing, for which he was anxious and restless. Shaykh Mustafa Abu al-Yazid (may Allah protect him): Pakistani people and the especially the faithful ones should bear firmly to the path of Righteousness by adhering to true leadership and assembling under its banner. For every person who aspires for Victory of Deen, establishment of Shari'ah, Commandments of Allah's Qur'an, and Victory of the Prophet Muhammad(peace and blessings be upon him), it is necessary that he follows guidance and fundamentals of religion through a leadership that enjoins good and for Allah's sake, does not fears the blame of the blamers; that adopts the right path to eradicate the clouds of misery and disgrace of the Ummah, meaning the path of Jihad for the sake of Allah: the path which requires sacrifice of every beloved and valuable thing in order to authorize Allah's Commandments. Martyr Mu'aad, may Allah have Mercy on him, accounts for an optimal example and a model of competence for the Muslim doctors to follow who should also answer the Scholars' calls of Jihad with labbayk after assessing the needs of doctors on the frontlines. They should heal the wounded and the sick Mujahideen in their entrenchments and fortifications. Nowhere can one find a greater quantity of wounded than in the fields of Jihad. Evaluate the aspects of those wounded Mujahideen who gained martyrdom just because they had no doctor to provide recovery. So O healers of the Ummah, Advance!, and remain in the state of readiness to fulfill the obligations. In the personality of Doctor Mu'aad, may Allah have Mercy on him, lies an ideal example for you to pursue. And all Praises belong to Allah, Lord of the Worlds. Possessing affinity and firm resolute, Now I am an emblem of legend An emblem of legend Heretofore I was a star, now I am a galaxy I am a galaxy Survey my deeds, radiance prevails Radiance prevails Embedded on my trodden dead, life flourishes Life flourishes Yes, this is existence, O my friends! Yes this is existence! I decided that this life will be a manifestation of faithfulness and distinction And what else will this life be used for? Yes this is life! And then when I was being released from the prison of the world When I had traversed my journey of devotion I said to my companions: I am a martyr! Then the tongue testified to the words of testimony and departure I departed! بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم  شبكة أنصار المجاهدين منتدى الانجليزية Ansar al-Mujahideen English Forum Presents:  The English Translation of Al-Fajr's Magazine's "Hitteen" Release: A Daughter, A Daughter-In-Law's Letter Martyr Doctor Arshad Waheed (may Allah have Mercy on him)'s wife's letter to her mother and mother-in-law In this age of darkness and brutality: when Dajjal-like mischiefs are expanded in order to lead astray the slaves of Allah, and when the love for this world has deviated the hearts of the believers and made them neglectful of Allah's Orders and Jihad's obligation. ......The bright suns; like Doctor Arshad Waheed (may Allah have Mercy on him), carrying the light of Shari'at's fidelity and Allah's love, manifested on Pakistan's horizon. In his short life, this shining and pure character, successfully surmounted the levels of Allah's affection and His Messenger's love; establishing a conformist's example for the entire Muslim Ummah (nation) to follow. In your life, levels such as da'wah (invitation) in Allah's Religion, helping in Jihad, serving the Mujahideen, imprisonment for the sake of Allah, hijrah (migration), Jihad against the enemies and kuffar, qital (fighting) against the apostates, and martyrdom for the sake of Allah,...... are embedded. You and martyrs of your likes are entitled to be followed, and your path forms a source of pride for the youth of the Ummah to tread. Your martyrdom occurred on Rabi' ul-Awwal, 1429 H, as a result of a joint American and Pakistani fighter jets' bombardment in Wana, the capital of South Waziristan. May Allah accept your martyrdom and strike the necks of your murderers through the hands of the Mujahideen. Aameen! As to what follows, Below is the faithfully-kindled letter of Dr. Arshad Waheed’s wife written after the martyrdom of her husband in the land of hijrah to the relatives in Pakistan. Undoubtedly the letter not only represents a lesson of Eemaan to the Muslim mothers and sisters, but we hope from Allah that this passionate speech written from the core of a fluttering heart is a source of flourishing Gheerah and Eemaan in many of the Muslim brothers. Insha’Allah. (Editor) My dear mother, and dear mother! Assalamu’Alaykum, May the showering Mercy and Love of Allah, the Exalted, descend upon you. May Allah cover us under His Mercy and save us from His Wrath. Aameen! Verily, to Allah we belong and to Him we shall return. Everything beautiful and precious blessings given to us by Allah, including our own lives belong to Him. Our noble Prophet Muhammad (Peace and Blessings be upon him) said that Allah says: “I have no reward other than Paradise for a believing slave of Mine who remains patient for My sake when I take away his beloved one from among the inhabitants of the world.” Indeed my husband for me was the greatest blessing and favor from Allah, and the most precious possession of my life. He was an axis around which my life revolved. Every reflection of happiness was dependent on his being. Such an affectionate and kind being that fulfilled the rights of every relation, and howsoever one could give happiness and welfare, he gave. I remember very well that he had a hand in every good deed done by me. He was the best of the best; he diffused such happiness in our lives that an idea of live was impracticable without him. But Allah alone bestowed this tremendous blessing on us, and Allah alone instilled the love that he had for us in his heart, and them took him from us. We await a similar reward from Allah in exchange for separating us with this tremendous blessing. Verily this grievous sorrow for me is as heavy as the mountains and this affliction of his departure is an unexplainable distress. O mother! Whenever this heart trembles unbearably on this misery, I ask Allah, the Most Compassionate, for His Love, Blessing, Forgiveness, and Pleasure in exchange for this misfortune, and seek refuge from Him,...... and verily one who is granted refuge is the triumphant. O mother! The truth is that it is not just difficult, but impossible for me to describe the sorrowfulness of this separation from him in words. You all are witness to the love with which he made hijrah and brought me and the children to this land. After migrating here, we did not feel dejected or grieved for even a moment but thanked Allah that we were not capable of this great Mercy that Allah bestowed on us and gave us the Tawfeeq to make hijrah in His Way; after arriving to such a land where Alhamdulillah with every passing day we felt a gradual growth after growth in our Eemaan. A strange world where even sorrows and grievances are different. The one who has the least assets of life is considered more worthier and respectable. Everywhere a race has developed to gain rewards by performing more good deeds. Every man is striving to enhance his Eemaan and his relations with Allah, the Exalted. Such beautiful slaves of Allah, on whose arrival, an atmosphere of happiness is borne. A land! Where we can feel Allah’s Mercies and Blessings showering down. Here, while sleeping or waking, eating or drinking, the series of ajr never stops. On this land after our marriage, we have spent the best and most comfortable years of our lives till now. And here, I saw him much *******ed and satisfied after our marriage unlike in any other period. His every wish holds place of a will in my heart and in his life, he frequently expressed his desire for our children to grow in this atmosphere without turning back, that they become great Mujahideen and scholars of the Religion, and then sacrifice their lives to uphold the Glory of this Deen. Mother! This land is in reality an elevation. The satisfaction of the heart, betterment of Eemaan, and propinquity to Allah that I gained after coming here; even thinking of returning back makes my soul shiver. People never return back from the pathway of hijrah, they seek towards elevations and elevations. He often used to tell me: Look! Do not leave this land even after my departure. Mother! I can smell his scent in these surroundings and his smiles have diffused around such that I cannot leave anywhere from here. Leaving this place permanently is far from thinking; I cannot even bear to leave temporarily, except if my Lord wishes something else. O mother! I have learned from him the manners to spend life. Due to the form of life that he chose, Allah called him towards Him even more sooner. Verily Allah loves to meet those who wish to meet Him. I have seen him waking up in the nights and hiding, crying with hiccups and begging to Allah. With just one wish and one du’a: that O Allah, accept me in Your Path. Two days before his martyrdom, he woke up for tahajjud (night prayers), after taking a bath, he changed his clothes, tied a headband, and said to me: Look! I am looking beautiful and clean, am I not?...... maybe today will be my Shahaadah! He expressed so much love for me that I began to get worried on what happened to him today...... he made me remember about his previous love: Look! I used to do such-and-such for you, I remembered you so much in the jail, and other things. Allah created our relationship (marriage) and made you only for me. Tears also filled my eyes. Sofia and Safana also wrapped around him. I felt so pleased...... what I didn’t know was that two days later, his feet would be covered with dust in the sake of Allah, such that no sign of him would be left. In the kind of the training he went through, he had to perform heavy exercises due to which his body was engulfed in permanent and continuous pain. He would only say that whatever condition I may be in, may Allah accept me in His Path! One night before his martyrdom, we laughed so much that it felt strange. I thought, what happened to us today? O mother, in this state of grievance and sorrow, whenever I think that he departed while he was pleased and satisfied with me, I feel a strange relief in my heart. In the last 10-15 days the responsibility of the Emirate that fell upon him, in a state of helplessness and humbleness he continuously cried. O mother! What else can I write...... each and every discourse and affection has engraved in the heart such that words cannot describe. The words of his memory and affection have gushed in a flood’s form. What else can I narrate: Dedicated to my lofty martyred husband, Arshad (may Allah have Mercy on him) Heretofore I was a star, Now I am a galaxy, Possessing affinity and firm resolute, Now I am an emblem of legend, Survey my deeds,...... radiance prevails, Embedded on my trodden dead,...... life flourishes, Yes, this is existence, O my friends! I decided that this life, Will be a manifestation of faithfulness and distinction, And what else will this life be used for? And then, When I was being released from the prison of the world, When I had traversed my journey of devotion, I said to my companions: “I am a martyr!” Then the tongue testified, To the words of testimony and departure, Heretofore I was a star, Now I am a galaxy, My manners remained faithful, Everlasting on my heart’s niche, The fire of Paradise’s desire remained refulgent, Heart was heart; wounds were to be faced by it, Yet my soul still remained delighted, From amongst the abundant gathering, My Lord chose me in a way, In a prolonged list of Muslim soldiers, I was brightened with excessive blessing, He narrated my light of Qur’an, I was made facile in love for Ahmad (sallallahu ‘alayhi wasallam) I was an embodiment of dust, When I was reduced to a miserable state, Filled with The Exalted’s blessings, I resided in skies, Heretofore I was a star, Now I am a galaxy, Friends! Soldiers! In one leap of passion, In the 14th epoch, I traversed the distance in a way, That I implanted the scenery of Ta’aif in my heart, My nature transformed to a morning breeze, And when I learned the lessons of Badr and Uhud, I was a minim of resolve...... now I am an ocean, In this age where signs of our ancestors were hidden, I upheld the standard of strangers, The bright lanterns of righteousness and sincerity, Were replete with heart’s blood, That heart which always filled with affection, Affection for everyone, Lips that were forever filled with smiles, For acquaintances, for every stranger, And then this happened, In the gathering of friends, when any kind of, Decrease in expansion of hearts occurred, I spread the imploration of my heart, Declaring to everyone, Dying in the path of righteousness is easy, Living is arduous...... I exhibited while living, My character, My sincerity, Each and every footprint was, “Sadaqa-e-Jaariya” I perpetuated on the pathways of passion, Heretofore I was a star, Now I am a galaxy, When the history of affection will be written, When the caravans of sanctified Hijaaz will be mentioned, Where the lovers of the Beloved (sallallahu ‘alayhi wasallam) are...... there, My name will come forth, The books of diligence will be broadcasted, Spent in these fields of Jihad, Every single moment of my hardships and poverty, Will prove to be valuable for me! Companions! Advance, keeping these wounds on your chests, If you desire to meet your Creator...... keep smiling, Keep kindling the fire of Ahmad (sallallahu ‘alayhi wasallam)’s affection, What you were taught, keep teaching, In this way you will have, like us, The status of desires for the pathway, From the reservoirs of Kau’sar (fountain), from him (sallallahu ‘alayhi wasallam), Yes with brimming love, A suave, sweet drink will arrive, A reward from the Creator of Both Worlds will arrive...... To live on, I only need Allah’s Support, and the support of his memories. May Allah, under His Mercy, accept me and my children in His Pathway, and prefer such martyrdom that He likes and accepts. Aameen. And may he overwhelm our hearts with His and His Prophet (Peace and Blessings be upon him)’s love, and create such restlessness and affection in our hearts for the desire to meet Him that He calls us towards Him more sooner, and may He make us pure from our faults, defects, and vices and cover us forever under the shade of His Mercy. Aameen, Summa Aameen!
